Award winning singer, Burna Boy who recently took the world by storm has reacted to the talk making headlines on social media about internet fraudsters popularly known as " Yahoo Boys".
The musician also known for his bluntness, has urged the youths to channel their energy into something more important by setting their priorities straight.
Recall that the drama and talk about yahoo boy was fronted by musician, Naira Marley who supported their action stating that "If one knows about slavery, then you'd know that yahoo is not a crime".
Some celebrities were not in support while some of the likes of Davido, Ziatan... hailed him on this.
Well, Burna has reacted to this issue stating that there are way many problems in the country therefore, people should get their priorities straight.
He however stressed that the leaders and those in control doesn't give a shit about the individuals in the country so those inhabiting it, should as well save themselves.
Now, this statement by Burna does not state precisly if he is against those who dupe people of their hard earned money - "yahoo boys" or if it's the other way round.
His post on social media, Instagram reads;
"Nigeria my country. Please. Let us get our priorities straight. I want my children and grandchildren to see Nigeria the way We see the Western World. We die Everyday at the hands of Police. We are robbed of our rights as human beings daily, our recycled Leaders don’t give a Fuck about us. We have real issues that we need to channel our Energy to. I’m begging you! Please!Let us Save ourselves. I don’t even like the Internet because it makes me feel a lot of hopelessness for my people. We are Kings and queens, originators and creators, gods on earth! Let’s Stop bullshitting here please!!"
