By Nneka Olisa - April 14, 2019

The Young Progressive Party's (YPP) candidate in the last presidential election, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, in a recent interview, called out the youths for the role they played during the elections.

Professor Kingsley Moghalu who was a guest on Channels Television's Politics Today expressed his disappointment with the youths.

He stated that the youths make alot of noise, they rant and rail but you will not see them on the voting day. Even if they vote, they deviate from what they speak of and want, he said.

“The biggest disappointment was with the youths. The youth vote was absent. They make a lot of noise, they rant and rail but you will not see them on the voting day. And when they vote, they don’t vote in line with their rhetoric.”

He further advised President Muhammadu Buhari to justify the votes and work hard, noting that the Federal Government should focus on three cores areas bordering on national unity, building a vibrant economy and the nation’s security.
