5 Reasons Why You Are Having Breakouts (PIMPLES) | Understanding Your Skin

Curious minds call for adept research and I believe why you have made your way to this post is because you want to understand why breakouts occur.
Pimples can occur in
just about any part of the body (face, shoulders, arms, chest, etc). Not only
does it come uninvited, but it also comes with a dose of insecurity as most
persons find it rather embarrassing to have it.
Now, the surprising
thing is that breakout (pimple) doesn’t just happen. Something must have
spurred it into occurring. And that is what this post is all about.
Personally, I had my own
share of breakouts when I was tender of age. I battled with pimples on my face,
chest, and back. The most embarrassing of them is when they eventually do
disappear, they leave a dark spot like to say, “I Was Here”
But that is all in the
past because I’ve come to understand why I break out and also taken concrete
steps to make sure my skin is healthy.
They say the first step
to solve a problem is to not dwell in the problem, rather, know what the
problem is, understand why you are encountering it, and quickly resolve to find
solutions.
What is more annoying
than having breakouts (Pimples) is not knowing the reason for its consistent reoccurrence.
Now, here are some
reasons why you might just be having those annoying breakouts
1. Understand your skin type. This is on the top of the list because it is a
stepping stone to other points listed out. Understanding your skin type goes
beyond the face and what skin type you have on the face. One could have oily
skin on the face, on the chest, it could be normal, on the arm it could be dry,
and on the back, it could be combination skin and so on.
So taking out time to
understand what kind of skin your whole body comprises of should be your top
priority.
2. Too Much Fatty and Oily Food. I believe you must know that too much fatty and
oily food is generally not agreeable to the body. Not only are you gaining
excess calories, but you are also causing more havoc to the skin. Instead, opt
for something less fatty and oily.
3. Chemicals. Chemicals range from that simple face cleanser you bought with
the thought that it would work the magic of removing the pimples overnight, to
the makeup you apply every day. Be mindful of what you buy. Not every product
is consensual to your skin type and what works for someone else might not work
for you. So what is important is to understand your skin type, and work with
it.
4. Dirty Clothing’s, Bed Wear and Irritable Self Care. How much effort do you
put into making sure that the bedspread and pillowcase covering your mattress
right now is clean? How much effort do you put into your personal care? Do you bathe at least twice a day? If you are looking for reasons why you might be breaking
out, this might just be the cause.
5. Lack of Exercise. What better way to burn fat and lose calories
than to work out. Looking back when I used to have breakouts, I slowly
colonized going out for a run in the morning as part of my daily routine.
Magically, the breakout started clearing off by itself. Although while I was
doing this, the above-listed points were been put into measure.
It is important to note
that 5 out of 10 individuals are likely to have breakouts. Sometimes this comes
with puberty, hormonal changes and blocked pores on the skin which is usually
caused by sweat and skin oil.
Most teens are likely to
break out when puberty starts happening. Although it may be non-avoidable, thus,
it’s important to adhere and put in caution where the need is to help the body
overcome such a stage without much struggle.
