News stating that popular
comic actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu was down with stroke has been
making rounds all over the media today.
Well, the actor has
emerged to debunk the news stating that they are false and rumors.
In a chat with Vanguard on
Thursday, the actor confirmed that he is fine, stressing that he is not
suffering from any form of sickness or ailment.
He said, “Na so I hear oooo.
I am hale and hearty. I am speaking from my house, in Lekki.
“I have been receiving
calls from across the world since today. I don’t know who is spreading this
false news about me. I don’t know what they saying.
“Na their papa get stroke.”
Okafor is considered to be
one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters. His humorous acting is often characterized
by stupidity, hilarious imbecility and a sharp disconnection from reality.
