The Two SARS Officers That Killed Kolade Johnson Will Face Trial - Lagos Police Command

During the weekend, a Young man who was watching a football match at a sit out place, was shot dead by SARZ officials in Lagos State.
Thankfully, the media took up the news and social media was on outburst concerning the death of Mr. Kolade Johnson.
The young man who was out watching a match between Liverpool and Tottenham last Sunday was killed by SARS officials who stormed Olu Aboderin Street, Onipetesi, where Kolade John was.
Reports has it that the Lagos Police Command have commenced an orderly trial of the two SARS officials that killed Kolade Johnson.
The officers who will be trialed are Inspector Ogunyemi Olaekan and Sergeant Godwin Orji of the Special Anti-Cultism Squad.
However, the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, Zubairu Mu’azu on Tuesday, paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased Kolade Johnson. Other Senior Police Officers such as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Department of Finance and Administration, Ayuba Elkanah; Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Muhammed Ali; Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department, Yetunde Longe, were all present with the CP at the house of Mr Kolade Johnson.
Speaking to the head of the deceased family, the Commissioner of Police assured the family that the officers involved had been apprehended and subjected to internal disciplinary procedures.
