According to reports, Samantha Josephson, a 21-year-old syudent of South Carolina University was reported missing by her roommates Friday afternoon after they had been seperated during a night out.
After a night out with her friends, and Samantha was not seen on campus, her roommates thought it was time they made a report to the police.
Samantha got into the wrong car thinking that the ride was her uber, police said.
Later on that day, Samantha's body was discoverd in a wooded area by hunters.
A suspect however by name, Nathaniel David Rowland, 24-year-old, wass arrested the next day and charged wit murder and kidnap.
An arrest was made after the police got the perfect description of the car Samantha got into before she went missing.

The suspect Rowland was apprehended trying to escape on foot after an officer asked him to step out of his car.
The officer saw blood in the suspect's car upon returning to it. He also found Josephson's cell phone, as well as containers of bleach, germicidal wipes, and window cleaner.
The child safety locks had been activated in the back seat, which would have made it difficult for Josephson to escape.
Meanwhile, the family of Samantha Josephson are in pain after the loss of their daughter. The father took to Facebook to share a picture alongside writing a heartfelt thought over losing his daughter.
