About 271 students of the UNILAG college will be graduating with a first class degree during the convocation scheduled for April 1st to April 5th.
Prof. Oluwatyin Ogundipe the vice chancellor of the institution in a meeting for the pre-convocation conference on wednesday, disclosed the information.
He further said that about 56 out of the 271 students graduating with first class were from the Faculty of Engineering.
The V.C of the Institution said a total pf 12,811 students would be receiving degrees, diplomas and certificates at the year's convocation ceremonies.
A total number of 2,277 students would be graaduating in the Second Class Upper division, while 3,116 in Second Class Lower division Prof Oluwatin Ogundipe disclosed at the conference.
He further stated that about 1,197 students from the academic session would be awarded Third Class.
He said that 131 others were in the Pass category, while 414 of the students will be honoured with degrees or diplomas that were not classified.
