Hon Umaru Fintiri of PDP Declared Winner Of Adamawa Governorship Election

The People's Democratic Party's candidate, Rt Hon Umaru Fintiri has
been declared winner of the Adamawa State governorship election by INEC.
Fintri of PDP has been declared winner by the
Independent National Electoral Commission. This was after a supplementary
election was conducted at 44 polling units in 14 Local Government areas of the
state.
Rt Hon Umaru Fintiri polled a total of 376,552 from
the main election and the supplementary election beating his strongest
opponent, Governor Mohammed Jibrilla of the All Progress Party (APC) who got a
total of 336,386 votes from both elections (Main and Supplementary).
The representative of the ADC party, Senator
Abdulaziz Nyankor came in third with a total of 113,237 votes followed by the
repesentative of SDP party, Chief Emmanuel Bello with a total of 29,792 votes.
